Consumer Data Privacy

Last updated: 2026-07-03

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and describes rights that consumers in certain US states (e.g. California under the CCPA/CPRA) may have. Replace with finalized wording; confirm which state laws you address.

What we collect and why

The categories of personal information we collect (account email, the health/wellness metrics you log, profile/goals, optional coarse location, and subscription status) and the purposes are described in our Privacy Policy. Health data is sensitive personal information and we use it only to provide the service and, with your consent, insights.

We do not sell or “share” your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Confirm this remains true given your integrations.

Your rights

  • Know / access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we already limit health-data use to providing the service + consented insights).
  • Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

You can access, export, and delete your data directly in the app (Settings), or submit a request to privacy@getvita.app. Describe how you verify requests and your response timeline (e.g. 45 days), and authorized-agent handling.
